From fast-moving startups to ASX & US listed businesses, I’ve helped shape finance functions with people who stay and succeed. Now co-leading Hyr Talent, I offer a consultative, insight-driven approach to hiring at every level.

With close to 10 years of specialised experience in finance and accounting recruitment, I’ve built a career on connecting high-performing professionals with opportunities that drive long-term success. From Financial Accountants & Financial Analysts through to CFOs, I’ve helped shape finance functions across most industries not limited to Healthcare, Not-For-Profit, FMCG, Retail, Manufacturing, Financial Services & family run businesses.

I previously led the Finance and Accounting division of a large US-listed recruitment firm, where I built lasting relationships and consistently delivered elite outcomes. Clients value my market insight, pace, and strategic approach, qualities that result in strong hires who stay, grow, and add measurable value.

In 2025, I co-founded Hyr Talent with Brody, my long-time colleague. We began our recruitment careers together and now operate with a shared focus: delivering outcomes, not transactions. At Hyr Talent, we take a consultative approach, offering market intelligence, team structure advice, and tailored search strategies to solve complex hiring challenges.

Outside of recruitment, I come from a competitive background as a former semi-professional tennis player, once ranked in the top 100 in Australia. Originally from Newcastle (go Knights!), I now live on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, where I enjoy surfing, though I’ll admit I am better on the court than the board.

I work across the full finance function, partnering closely with leadership teams to deliver strategic hires that drive long-term success. Competitive, driven, and consultative, I bring energy, care, and a results-focused approach to everything I do.

My career in finance recruitment has been defined by consistency and an unwavering pursuit of excellence. I honed my craft at one of the world’s most respected recruitment firms, where I quickly earned recognition as the top performer across ANZ in transactional and operational finance. This early success motivated me to challenge myself further and move into the senior finance space.

Over the last six years, I’ve built deep expertise across the full finance function: From financial reporting and technical accounting to FP&A and commercial finance. My genuine curiosity and commitment to understanding complex areas of finance make me a trusted advisor to both candidates and clients.

After almost a decade of success, I could have stayed the course, but complacency isn’t in my DNA. Together with Joel, I co-founded Hyr Talent to offer a smarter, faster, and more strategic approach to hiring finance professionals. Outside of recruitment, I bring the same competitive drive to sport and life. Whether I’m captaining my touch football team or training for a marathon, I approach every challenge with energy and passion. Family is a huge driver for me; I’m expecting my first child in 2025 and aim to build a legacy that supports both my loved ones and the community around me.
